It’s the sense of entitlement that bothers me. A couple of weeks ago when it was freezing they were asking how football at such a high level (WSL) was being postponed. Demanding under soil heating.
Sorry they might play for Man City women, but for all intents and purposes it’s NOT Man City. The womens teams at the big clubs are subsidised and for that they are fortunate.
The womens game is in its infancy, and I’m sure as more money goes in to it, then they will get better facilities. Until then, they should be thankful for the financial support they get, continue to grow the game and WSL as a product.
What next? Equal pay.
