At mid January I definitely didn't think we'd go down, had just been on a good run, were top 5 over a 15 game period losing only 15 goals in that time (1 less than Celtic in the same period and best in the division in that time despite Birighitti) so it wasn't a stretch then to think we'd ultimately stay up under Fox, despite his critics he'd done a good job to that point, the injuries hit (Middleton etc) and we let watt go on loan, had the old firm at home back to back, missed the pen at Killie (6 point swing) , had the red card at Tynecastle three days later when playing very well while not doing any business but Ayina (who until last night's turned out a decent acquisition), then the real Birighitti returned against St Johnstone and it snowballed, atmosphere was toxic post Jan window, we appointed Goodwin which was surreal, he kinda got a wee reaction, the fans were back on side but ultimately did no better than Fox unfortunately, not helped by the clown in goal in the last few games (or Craig Napier and var v St Mirren)

As for the keepers Eriksson really was no better, he's awful too, see Celtic home, St Mirren home and St Mirren away, dreadful

All of this is reality
