Sir Alex Ferguson & Co-partners smash their own world record for a jump horse,
today at the Goffs sale at Doncaster today, Monday 22 July 2024.
With bloodstock agent Tim Malone [TMBloodstock] & trainer Paul Nicolls doing the
bidding for Ferguson & his 4 partners, the horse Regents Stroll was bought for a
world record of £660,000 a record at a public auction.
The unbeaten 5 year old which had never jumped a obstacle in public, had been
running in bumper races, is a relative of Denman.
The bidding started at £400,000 with increments of £20,000 bid.
On the day Tim Malone & Paul Nicholls bid £1.5m at the auction, altogether.
Alex Ferguson & his co-partners had previously held the record in February 2024,
when buying jump horse Caldwell Potter for £633,000
