With the rise of AI, managers with character will likely become even further marginalised from the game. Logically however there has to come a point where AI is 100% trusted to interpret as well as present the data and to make the decisions, then nobody is getting any advantage out of it anymore because all clubs are using the same tool coming to the same conclusions. I guess that will be the point where you'd be looking to characters to give you an extra edge on your opponents.
