Charlton were savagely mauled by the Lions in this very one sided fixture but the scale of the defeat is nothing but terrible. The posts from Millwall fans I've read have been nothing but generous and some even liking TC but that cannot take anything away from the dire performance even against such a good team. Watching the highlights was painful.
Millwall scored on six minutes after Kaminski's save hit Kayne Ramsay and bounced into the net. Thereafter it was all one way traffic though TC and Carey had shots easily saved.
Millwall's danger man Azeez the architect of their goals with his lightening pace was foiled by Kaminski first time and saw a goal ruled offside early in the 2nd half.
However that didn't stop the Millwall goal train with Caleb Taylor and Luke Cundle, from a penalty rebound, scoring. Aidomo Emakhu added a fourth goal in stoppage time. Millwall could have scored far more and the Add1cks defensive frailties, unlike the early season shut-outs, nervy midfield play and lack of a goal scoring threat were all fully exposed.
Charlton hover perilously above the relegation zone and Nathan Jones will urgently need to find ways to turn it round if the team are to remain in the Championship next season.
Millwall goals: Ramsay (own goal) 7, Taylor 81, Cundle 90+2 Emakhu 90+3
