As I wrote earlier, there is NO clear purpose or exit strategy. IMO, give it a few weeks and they'll stop and make some fatuous claim of it all having been a success.

We're sending a ship in a couple of days once it's 100% stacked and ready. Allies like the French have boats there, France has a carrier on the way accompanied by a Dutch destroyer. We can't teleport ships there.
