amazed so many supporters want to go ahead with this appeal. Did they slag off Sheff Utd when they went legal?
    This is embarrassing the club.
    Stinks of desperation.
Personally I agree we should move on without taking the legal route.

BUT---and it's a f_ucking big BUT---when Lord Griffiths made his decision in the Tevez affair he effectively said, in law, that one man CAN make the difference.

    Therefore----------.

And, no, I am not claiming that the relative abilities of Tevez and Carroll are similar.[/quote]

one man makes a difference or not, Carrolls getting away with it, again. He was a f*cking idiot to try and get a sneaky smash to the face of flores. He didn't get away with it and his silliness has cost west ham, again!
Fans anger should be aimed at him.

Also as commented in the posts, the bigger picture. Whilst i dont agree with taking this any further, i can understand some peoples comments about everybody just sitting back and letting the F.A run rough shod over procedures just to get an outcome to suit them.

Someone stated, the bigger picture would mean if it goes down that road, hell probably have to serve his suspension in the harder matches. Clever or Foolish. Take your pick.

Of course that all depends on the outcome, but if we are honest with ourselves, G and S did say they wouldnt have backed down re Tevez, and i suspected they would take this to the post once they stated their intentions.

So the main objective is to delay the penalty on a technicality ?

Well, unsavory, but would certainly be priceless to have Carroll available for the February games, so lets play the system and take a shot at it.
