    David Pannick QC

Leading barrister and has been asked by West Ham to explore if the appeals process for Carroll's red card was flawed.

I just hope he says it wasn't.

Total waste of money and embarrassing.

Totally agree. OK the decision stinks, but we cant achieve anything going down this road.

I think all the bodies need to sit round a table and sort the process out because it seems that the F.A are only choosing to follow what suits them best and not what is good for the game.

The whole F.A needs a good shake up and staffed with bodies that really want to do justice to the game, not a bunch of sychophants kissing each others a55 es to score brownie points.

They have slowly eroded any respect anyone had for them, and have become a joke that we have to suffer.

He is a lawyer of course he will say it is flawed. He will see lots of potential to make money.

Probably not flawed , but a bit too biased. I feel that once Webb was given the chance to view the video and chose not to rescind the card it added more favour to him. That and the buddy buddy network.

Ignore the conspiracy theory that as it was our top referee and he couldn't be made to look wrong and look at the facts.

Did AC swing an arm ? Yes. Did it catch Flores ? Yes. What's the penalty for that ? A red card.

Ignore again the cheating by the c#nt, that wasn't the issue (although I'm astonished the FA haven't at least warned him).

Opinion is divided. Michael Owen, Graham Poll and Paul Walsh have all said harsh, but a red. Many others haven't but clouded mainly by the play-acting.

Only Carroll knows if he meant it. An independent panel said he did. FFS move on and channel the anger in a positive manner.

We'll still start Saturday with 11 players, same as Villa, and hopefully Carlton can make us proud.

If we pursue this I cringe at the amount of Blunts infesting this site.

Everyone knows the F A is an organisation way past it's sell by date. Amateurs trying to run what is now a multi billion pound business.

That said to take this to law is totally stupid imo. What next? "M'lud we will show my client's player was clearly onside and the goal scored should have stood."

    Indeed Whisky.

And now once again the Chuckle Brothers' folly in not providing back-up for Carroll rears it's ugly head, not through injury but suspension (although Carlton may prove adequate). The prospect of losing 75m by putting all your eggs in one basket is very worrying.

David Pannick ? The clue's in the.

Hope this QC talk is rubbish.
