We have struggled to create chances since conceding the two late goals against Birmingham.

Before those goals we were playing attacking football and trying to have go at teams, it seems by trying to tighten up and stop conceding we have lost something.

That's why McClaren talked about getting 'the balance right' However it seems that balance still isn't right, perhaps we don't have the players to get that balance?

So should we just go back to attack attack attack?[/quote]

Personally, I think the attack mentality is exactly what we should reapply. Aside from QPR we haven't really beaten a quality team with a more defensive stance al

You might get what your asking for. Simmoo was on Ramsplayer talking about how they tried to shore up the defence after the Brum and Yeovil games.

But this has come at a detriment to our attacking play and fluidity.

He said we are looking to get the attacking play back. Here's hoping.

Id have Eustace back in the squad, with him in the side it just works for some reason, and I would like to see Ward back in the side, on his day his our main attacking threat.

    nooooooooooooooooooooo (with an echo effect).

I fear that he may well come back into the side. he is a lively player, sometimes even dangerous but he just gives the ball away too much for my liking. if he plays I'm sure ella will be keeping an eye on his pass completion rate ;-)

as for Eustace, a lot of his good work goes unnoticed by the untrained/angry eye. him breaking up opposition attacks 'in the whole' has been key to our success this season.

This Angry Eye agrees re Ward... Eustace, you lot need to actually watch him at some point. It's shocking believe me.
When you say his good work goes unnoticed, your right.. It only happens once a game, blink and yer miss it..

Started well but could do with a goal. They have some good players that can hurt us.
