Those slating O'Neil for committing the professional foul and admitting to his intentions, how would you feel if Buxton or Bryson made the same decision? I know it's a bitter pill to swallow, but I'd have no issue with a Derby player doing exactly the same.

I've already mentioned I would not blame a Derby player for committing the foul, you take one for the team and that's fine, but to go on Twitter and pretty much gloat about it is not right. Had Bucko gone on twitter to boast about how he'd stopped a goal by cheating wouldn't be something that would please me. Laugh and joke about it or whatever you want in the changing room but don't put it on a social networking site.

I don't think he's gloating mate, he's getting abuse from fans and explaining his actions. Seems like he's being forced to defend himself. It's not nice to read though. My immediate instinct was to think he's a knob.

Better to ignore them then. Why say something like that and leave yourself open to further abuse? Anyone would think he was a 19 year old kid who had just done that, not an experienced footballer who should know better.
