It's easy to be humble when you've just won.
Now Steve and the team staying to applaud QPR lifting the trophy. TThat's different class.

Fellow sheep hope you've all recovered from yesterday's disappointment ?
I haven't ! Still there's always the prospect of the Gumps to thrash so every cloud and all that ...
Just bought myself round to bearing to watch the football league show highlights and what a gentleman Mr Barton is ,he spoke very highly of Stevie Mac the team the club and fans ,really have seen him in a different light from the pantomime villain he's made out to be ,he's the modern day robbie savage who you hate when he's not playing for your team but would secretly love to have in the team
Keep your peckers up
Roll on next season

I think I know the point your making Bridgford but I wouldn't, even secretly, want him in my team because he's not as good as any of our central midfielders in my opinion.Originally Posted by bridgfordram

Absolutely mate !
Steves a total gentleman and is what makes him the person he is
Just thought that (me included) fans nail joey B at the slightest misdemeanour but what he said was a nice touch
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
would never want him, on yesterdays showing he is clearly either not half as good as he thinks he is, or he's just collecting a pay packet.
When he doesn't lose his cool, he's a reasonable player, like he was yesterday, smiling, having a laugh, just doing what he's paid to do.
But when he wakes up on the wrong side of the bed...well we know what will happen.
Can't even compare him to Savage. The latter isn't easy to like, but he does give his all and tries for the team and I don't think he's malicious. He's hard, winds opponents up but his idea is not to go and hurt someone.
Can't say the same of Barton.
Very few fans want him. Those who have him, support him solely in the hope he'll use that support wisely and not go and screw things up.
That's called passion!!!
Don't believe everything you read in the press!!!
He gave more respect to us than I've seen before live on tv. Time to smell the roses.
Gary O'Neil proved to be a bigger **** than Joey. Although Joey Barton still is a massive tosser, he has calmed down recently and has become slightly tolerable. I understand taking one for the team in O'Neil's case and had someone like Hendrick done the same yesterday I wouldn't have begrudged it, but to tweet the following afterwards and brag about it is unsportsmanlike and quite frankly embarrassing for his club.

That first O'Neil tweet was on about 75 mins while the game was still in play..
