2 signings today

With the prospect of 2 signings today what are your thoughts on who they might be.

Looking at todays press there seems to be a fews being bandied about.

I think one of the signings with be Matty Fryatt and the other one Lars Veldwijk.
Both would be good signings and its nice to see the club making an effort to complete business early doors for a change.

He's a free with many years of good experiance. He is still only 28.

Is 1:3 that bad? It's against decent opposition and what has/is in the pecking order?
Cox,Henderson,Tudgay,Derbyshire?
16 Goals from him would do me and he can lead a line, when we play 5 across the middle.


Just been reading some other forums and the Hull fans are gutted. They wanted him to stay. The Weds fans are pissed off, they wanted him as well.
We'll see. We've been disappointed so many times. Maybe the irony would be we find what we need by accident.

Typical Notts Forest fan. Rather the defend then your player jump straight to abuse. But I suppose your just admitting how underwhelmed you really are. What with the talk of Rhoades, Wickham and McCormack... you sign former Sheffield Wednesday Loanee Fryatt. on a 3 year deal faith in fatwaz, he knows what hes doing with his contracts! Loves giving these injury prone players one more chance.

Brilliant,just brilliant.you do know that its close season and everyone is on there hols or at the world cup.pearce has already been at the club met the players and staff and drawn up his list of players and your saying he's to busy with his punditry?his contract doesn't start till July 1st.would you get a new job and start 1 and a half months early without pay just to make sure you get everything in place?
