    2 signings today

With the prospect of 2 signings today what are your thoughts on who they might be.

Looking at todays press there seems to be a fews being bandied about.

I think one of the signings with be Matty Fryatt and the other one Lars Veldwijk.
Both would be good signings and its nice to see the club making an effort to complete business early doors for a change.

Clips of Veldwijk attached. - view external link

Fryatt is a hard working goal scorer and I think is an excellent addition especially on a free transfer.

Veldwijk certainly know where the goal is with 30 goals in 38 games last season but watching youtube clips highlights that the defence and keepers aren't awesome. I guess I am a little nervous about spending £2.5m (reported fee) on a player who is untested in the UK after Djebbour (same value) has shown so little. I know it shouldn't but once bitten twice shy and all that.

Great to see us bringing in a) strikers and b) players early.

Would have liked one of them to be Assombolonga though! He is sensational. Peltier is a must too for me.

Veldwijk, is supposed to be in Nottingham now, discussing terms. The fee will be interesting, 2-3 million quoted.

He's young, but to be honest, apart from the fact he could chin Crouch. He's an unknown quantity here. However at 22, he isn't a journeyman and several continental sides interested. I'll reserve judgment on this, if he signs and I've seen him play.
Fryatt, for a free. Good purchase. Solid, experienced, 3:1 hit rate proven. Also h

Have to admit that after looking at some of the goals you have to say that some of the defences and goalies were a bit suspect.
Being a young player he has ability and knows where the back of the new is so hopefully we can develop him.

    Lots ofs being bandied about.

    Peltier is a

We should just buy Real Madrid, then use their players.
