Hamilton by far tryed to play better football, we were always second best the majority of the time, our team will have to try harder and work harder to improve from this tonight,to try and get a level of consistant performances.

Just goes to show how some of our fans look at
cup games now. We should be going to places like Hamilton and be and be confident of going through.

You would think from reading all these comments that there was only one team on the park. No one has mentioned the fact that we were playing against a team that has lost one game this season. It is arrogance to think we should beat teams like this.

I'm sorry but that is just a cop to try and excuse last night on "aye but look how well the opposition are playing".

Last night Hamilton did not play well, in fact they looked distinctively average for the majority and were reduced to 10 men to which we failed to react properly to, rather, we hooked an attacking player (Ainsworth) for a defensive player (Ramsden) at a point in the game when we were on top...where is the sense in that?

Okay we lost on penalties which are a lottery but we did nothing throughout 120 minutes to deserve to progress and as such we find ourselves out on our sorry @rses at the first hurdle in yet another cup competition yet again.
