Stuart McCall...time to go

Another year, another cup failure at the first time of asking, another major let down for the fans. I couldn't give a toss what he's done in the league for us, McCall has let us down time and time again when it really matters and tonight was the last straw.

I will not be back at Fir Park until McCall is gone.

Not so sure it's too extreme after another abysmal performance under his tenure!? Not going into more detail just now 'cos I'm too gutted ... although you'd think I'd be used to it by now

We did not expect to beat Hamilton tonight,when draw was made I for one did not expect us to progress,so hopefully based on previous years cup runs under the mananager we never budgeted for a cup run.So anything that came our way would be a bonus.
Hamilton by far tryed to play better football, we were always second best the majority of the time, our team will have to try harder and work harder to improve from this tonight,to try and get a level of consistant performances.

I must have been at a different game. I thought it was a good old fashioned cup tie. Both sides went at full pace. We were unlucky with the one that hit woodwork, and should have had at least a couple of penalties.

Well you and i were certainly at a different game but you can only call it as you see it.

McCall always gets blamed when we lose a cup tie and partly of it rightly so as i was calling for erwin to come on for ages yet he only makes 2 subs also wanted nielsen on last minute of extra time as dan although not a bad keeper does not have the presence of nielsen at penalties. Bur for me we are always unlucky in cup ties and a know it hurts but even last night had a couple of handballs in box not given,hit bar and post in same move and most importantly obriens 2nd yellow wasnt even a foul and his first was given during halftime for a foul he done endt of 1st half which i have never heard of in my life and to cap it off the person brought on due to his sending off misses the deciding penalty. When obrien was sent off we were well on top and have no doubt would have went on to win the game if the ref had done his job properly and as for mccall having to go no chance hes under contract and yes his cup runs are abysmal but we have certainly won more games than we have lost with him in

i also had the idea of switching the keepers, esp. after seeing him save the penalties against celtic last season. i thought it would be the inspired thing to do... that or use the 3rd sub to bring on another natural penalty taker.

I actually convinced myself that was his plan as could see no other reason for holding back a sub when playing 120 minutes of football but he surprised me with his cup tactics once again just the sight of big gunnar between the posts might have made the difference.
