Have to agree with Alan Shearer about Barnes(I probably would as he doesnt dance to the Man.Utd tune like other commentators)...it looked a shocker.

Feeney wasnt a good player but was probably part of the D.J.Campbell transaction so all we could get...

Interestingly,I feel the referees have been mildly positive to us at Ewood this season. So the fact that we are in the position we are, doesnt particularly bode well. Far too big and expensive a squad,no youngsters from the academy allowed a game, but you know all this already...

So you agree with Alan 'kick Lennon in the head while he is on the floor' Shearer. Barnes makes his pass the other guy comes in late from the side, Barnes was looking where he was passing the ball and could not be expected to see him never mind aim a kick at him. The sort of accident I see 2 or 3 times every season, and is the reason shinpad makers don't go out of business. God knows what would be said if he had needed a wipe over with the trainers sponge or heaven forbid had a limp. Funny that there are no comments about Costas kick on the back of Shackells legs late in the game or this lovely stud down the back of the leg rake when the ball is well away.

Bloody hell, you dingles just won't let it lie will you. Why aren't you up to your usual antnics, like pointing out we have the same record as Crackpool over the last 14 games. Surely that will cheer you up?

The fact this absolute non story is still being pain stakingly talked about days and days after it happened shows me everything I already knew about why football is not only over saturised, boring but also lacking any real skill and class. It's such a boring topic, it was boring on Sat tea time. It's painful now.

You lot got a decent point, end of topic. Why on earth is this even a discussion point. If this happened in the Champ would it have the same amount of days spent talking about it? Nope. Another reason to lose even more interest in that crap league.

All this was said on Sat. Nobody is adding any value to it now. It's just painfully boring. I'd be concentrating on the getting 3 points on Sat not looking back at this if I was Burnley. What's the point of going up to get relegated. If your just going up to make up the numbers then why cry about this now? Fall in line, and go back down with a whimper.

Or at least make a fist of it.

Champs, I completely agree with you, this was a nothing story, blown out of all proportion by the media. I have to say I am getting more angry about some of the crap going round about it, if it happened at Grimsby nobody would have heard a word about it, and the FA wouldn't have had to confirm that there is one rule for Chelsea one for the rest. However I felt I owed it to Bob to reply to his post. One thing is for sure, especially after Saturday, we may very well go down, but we won't be going down with a whimper.
