I am sure that KP is having an impact but I would like to suggest that CM's "enhanced" performance today was more about the quality of the service that he received in and around the box; I would add that, in all likelihood, somebody {perhaps CM himself} has told the likes of BJ where he wants the ball; also boosted of course by his Scotland goal.

Undoubtedly CM was MotM today...I'd just love to pull that post out of the archive from when CM first arrived....

Not sure I agree on the MoTM Ella.. CM very, very close with the 2 goals but for an all round 90 min display, I have to give it to Bradley.. Outstanding yesterday..

Out of interest, what would you give Fozzy yesterday? Was g

Forsyth got stronger as game went on. Henry looked lively first half but Fozzy never let his head drop. Henry a similar sort of player to Russell IMO. One of Christies's best games in a Rams shirt too

Henry had Forsyth on toast, he constantly have him too much space and most of there attacking threat came down that side. If have put warnock in at half time. Christie looked very good though yesterday.

Agree with you about the MotM Angry. As you say, over the ninety Johnson was the stand out for me. Fozzy's performance had me wondering if we'll ever have two full backs have a good game on the same day, poor in the first half but, as Manx says, he stuck at it and, imo, improved. Tbh, same could also be said about Hendrick and Russell.

You'd have him keep the captaincy then Ella? Probably difficult to take it away given his record, but I can't help feeling midfield is a better position to 'direct' things from.

It's an interesting one isn't it? He seems to have blossomed a tad since being given the armband...just as keogh did in reverse.

Thought Fozzy really struggled in the first half but I would like to give him the benefit of the doubt and say he learned, adapted and then had a much better second half. Difficult to say, might just have been down to us pressing on and Henry not such a threat anyway.
Their standout player in my opinion.

Funny how we all see things differently, I thought Martin was generally struggling since he had the armband. MKD a good example..
A great game yesterday but of all our players I think he was struggling to adapt to Clement and new systems.
From what we are seeing in the last few games, Johnson is becoming the man who should be skipper..
