    Kevin Phillips

Is it no surprise that our upturn in resultsly being able to score coincides with his appointment? He seems to be an inspired decision, its working for both parties at the minute

I think you are spot on. Any manager needs help and Un Philips we have another hungry individual (whomndid wonders with Vardy and Co at Fester). A former player of his quality and professionalism can give a lot back in a coaching role.

    A superb appointment.

He needs to show Martin how to take a penalty! I predicted at 2-1 that we would get a penalty and he would miss, I was disappointed to be proved right!

I'm sure that'll be on the agenda tomorrow in training, 100 penalties, I knew he'd miss to by the way

Serious point that Stimac...we've not been the most reliable with penalties for a while and it could become costly. Of lesser importance, Martin missed the chance to become a first half hat trick scorer for the first time in God knows how long...real pity given the quality of the two he did score.

He's missed too many now for me. Who should take them? Ince to place them or Johnson to smash them?

Given the standard of Ince's free kicks and corners today...that'll be Johnson then.

Yh I'd take Martin off them now. Give Johnson his chance or bent if he's on.

Bent take penalties, not a chance he missed as many penalties as Martin has the only person that will be taking penalties is Johnny Russell.

Yes we are not the best at dead ball situations. It's definitely an area where improvement will pay big dividends.

Judging by Martins overall performance, Kevin Philips is already doing good work at DCFC.
