Defenders do more than just defending and Warnock worked tirelessly, heard numerous people saying he was man of the match post match. If we could have won by 4 or 5 then that would have meant scoring every chance that we had because there wasn't too many clear cut chances. Carson 8
The irony for any goalkeeper is that he (or she!) can only stand out if called upon to make saves that are beyond the call of duty, which relies on the opposition having lots of chances. When that isn’t the case, they can only stand and stare, and achieve a mediocre rating. Well, I’m giving Frank an 8 because he only had two saves to make all game. One was outstanding: the lively Jones cut the ball back to Noone who thumped in a goalward effort from 20 yards with some clout. It was at a nice height admittedly for big Frank but it was also tavelling. No sweat, Frank had advanced out to a yard beyond his 6 yard box and smacked the ball full on the nose, before Cyrus hoofed clear. Frank exudes a granite-like solidity, and his gap-toothed grin and all-round chunkiness would fit him well for a future career as an ice-road trucker, wrestling bears, and eating Yorkie bars in two bites. Lee Grant looks on with an air of resigned idleness.
Frank spent the rest of his game

We had twenty shots, ten of which were on target.
