Immediate post match ratings v Cardiff

Carson - 7 - Steady as usual. Organised the defence well but was hardly troubled.
Christie - 8 - Brilliant again. When he's full of confidence he's a joy to watch. Really hope his injury isn't serious.
Keogh - 6 - Wasn't troubled much but lost the ball a couple of times, leading to their best chances of the game, although calling them chances is a bit generous. He was probably still hanging after the post Ireland celebrations so we'll let him off.
Shackell - 7 - Solid, but also not really troubled much. Looked comfortable on the ball. His only real issue was making sure Jones didn't win too many headers but the balls hardly came to him so Shackell's job was made all that much easier.
Warnock - 8 MOTM - What were we worrying about when Forsyth got injured aye? Got forward brilliantly and excellent on the ball. Defensively sound and had one of those games where everything he tried worked.
Thorne - 8 - Passing was a lot better today. Switched the play successfully numerous times and

Just a few points I would perhaps alter a little. Firstly how you give a defender motm against a team who rarely threatened going forward I would perhaps disagree with. Plus Martin and Weimann only getting 5 and 6 against a side who have only conceded 1 goal in the last 6 games, I think a little unfair. We could have won by 4 or 5 today. Both showed great movement at times, perhaps you and your 11 mates are a little blinkered when it comes to Weimanns contribution

Also just read your last paragraph. When you say Marshall had a mare. Do you mean theirbgoalkeeper?? I thought he made 2 great saves. 4 or 5 other good stops and could do nothing with the two goals. Unless I've got the wrong Marshall, you sir are deluded.

Rambam More or less agree with your ratings Ince Martin and Weiman were average at best Warnock has certainly made me eat my words but I still can not see him playing two games a week Clement is making a mistake not bringing a left back in on loan Cardiff yes they looked a mid table side because we certainly did not play well Ive already written the Hull game off because they are the best team in this league with the best squad There is only one automatic spot left because Hull will walk this league

Big call mista with almost two thirds of the season left. Very good side with a strong squad. Personally I expect it be a lot closer than you predict with little to chose between Derby, Hull, Burnley and Boro. Brighton not falling away either as some thought they might. It's a tough league.

I watched Hull v Bristol today and frankly Hull were not that good. On top of which they lost Dawson and another guy to suspension for game against us. I think we have a good chance.

Don't agree with your perception of Hull. Good? Yes! Untouchable? No!

    Positives today..
Warnock, Thorne, Shackell, Christie, Butterfield (MOTM) & Carson.

    Negatives today..
Martin, Ince, Keogh & Christie (injury).

Cardiff came to frustrate and did. I feel sorry for their 1112 who travelled and watched crap. Mind you we have done that many a time.

Defenders do more than just defending and Warnock worked tirelessly, heard numerous people saying he was man of the match post match. If we could have won by 4 or 5 then that would have meant scoring every chance that we had because there wasn't too many clear cut chances. You kind of contradict yourself saying that we could have scored that many when those two would have probably been on the end of those chances. And regarding Marshall, he parried the ball numerous times a
