Well, because you keep contradicting yourself...the cost could be anything, according to you, from £100K to 'at least' £1million and half the time you worry about him taking someone's place while the rest of the time you tell us he'll just be 'stuck in the reserves'. Make your mind up chap...anyway, my builders have just arrived.

I took back the £1 million price tag. Whatever price the point is still obvious. He would be stuck in the reserves, hence why I'd be worried if he took the place of a first teamer. This isn't rocket science, I think you're confusing yourself a bit. Take a step back and have a nice old glass of common sense.

Okay, done with the builders...loads of common sense and guess what? I now know the cost!

So...'whatever price the point is still obvious.' Really? So you'd hold the same view of whether or not he's worth a 'punt' regardless of where, within the alarmingly large 'six figure' range, he is priced at?
As for, 'He would be stuck in the reserves, hence why I'd be worried if he took the place of a first teamer.'...you sure I'm the one that's confused?

Let's just agree to differ on this one RBF, I've said more to you than the wife today. ;-)

Yes I would! Even £100,000 (which I highly doubt it will be) would be better off going on wages amongst other things.
I'm saying that in terms of quality he would be in our reserves, because he won't be better than Martin or Bent. That is why it would be worrying if he played in the first team.

Please. I've spoke to you more than my wall, easier to get information through to it though.

    [quote="RamBamFan"?

Sure you may not agree with the responses (its a free country), but the posters on here have not ridiculed you just questioned some of your strange statements, some of which are below:

A player in the scottish championship cannot be any good

Why spend a million on a player who wont be near the first team

Any league 1 team could challenge Celtic

All U21 Players have been obtained free

No point in spending money on a player just to sit in the reserves

Buying the player will mean that potentially a better player wont be bought

To much money at £1 million, £900,000 despite no price being mentioned

Whilst some of the above may be an opinion, all of them plus some other comments are certa

Okay RamBam, I've tried to be reasonable and keep it pleasant but that comment about cost is just bollox. You might as well say we should never spend any money on searching for up and coming talent. As for you already knowing that 'in terms of quality he would be in our reserves' when only a couple of hours ago you conceded that you 'don't have a clue what he's like!', just listen to yourself...it's completely nonsensical.
I really haven't the time to list all your contradictions of the last 24 hours but you stick with talking to that wall RBF...at least you know it'll never question you or answer back. Hang a mirror on it and it might even agree.

P.S. Charlton 0-2 up at Brighton, let's at least agree that that's good news.

    P.P.S. Bloody Zamora!

Aye that is good news...for now, though dont forget RBF says we will easily get 3 pts tomorrow and given that he clearly understands football and thinks potentially investing in a player for the future is nonsense I'm putting my mortgage on the result
