Why do you keep mentioning suspects? I could easily say the usual suspects are up the BOD arse.

Personally, find the Board guilty. Guilty that is of keeping a competitive team on the park while bringing in extra revenue despite poorish attendances . If that's being ` up their arse` then so be it.

I agree that the current BOD are doing a good job but I don't see the relevance of why that should stop us having a fan representative on the board. Is it only when they are doing a bad job that it should be raised?

I also don't like the kind of them and us attitude as if they think they are better than the ordinary fan because they wear suits and have money, we should be all in it together.

I don't know them personally but that is the impression I get when they don't want fans on the board. What is their reason then?

Ridiculous . Don't know about Hewittson but Paterson and Blount are fans with suits on . edit to add . Mr Lithgow might not be everyone's cup of tea but he is a diehard fan as well doing valuable administration work.

My first and main point is this: I don't think QOS have ever had a better board of directors in their history, and we should be mindful that those same directors decided to wipe the slate of debt clean, and we should be forever grateful, - not slagging them off at every opportunity. OK - so I'm a crawler, - but its also a fact.

To that end, why on earth is there such a desperate rush to have fan representation on the Board? Surely, the Trust should try to influence the BOD through the various mediums such as this particular platform?

If the Trust were successful in raising the prescribed capital, they would be a lone voice in a Boardroom, and their views could quite easily be voted out regardless, - so far better to quietly chip away and have the overwhelming backing of the clubs support rather than a wee bit of power that ultimately could be meaningless.

Five years ago was the time for a fan representative on the Board, - but now is the time for the real fans to get behin

I would like to hear it from the Queens Trust too, to find out what their plans are. The fans are the club and without them the fans in suits wouldn't last long.

Edited to add I'm not advocating that there should be a fan takeover which some seem to think is the plan.

I take it you never read the quotes from the Queens Chairman in yesterday's Standard ?
