Our numbskull away fans are an embarrassment. I'm ashamed to be English and im ashamed to be a football fan.

Sadly can't disagree at the moment Triz. It's hard feeling part of a nation that is represented by inarticulate thugs abroad and more articulate bully boys - aka Boris Johnson, Farage and Gove - back at home. Frankly it's depressing. I just hope things don't kick off against Wales but I can't help feeling that French hooligans will try and ensure something happens and that a section of 'our' fans will be too dumb to resist reacting.
Johnson, Farage, Gove, Trump, Isis and all 'football' thugs who bring disgrace upon their country all bound to join Billy Cranky in Room 101 in my world.

If it does kick off against Wales then we will be home even earlier than most of us feared

When Rats indulges in his usual rants against Liverpool fans he always mocks by saying something like...'why always us, never our fault', but hasn't it sadly become exactly the same with England?
Feel genuinely sorry for the real England football fans. The Euros should be a festival of football with healthy banter and rivalry but all I know is that, sitting in a quiet and welcoming restaurant overlooking the Med last night I was just embarrassed by the behaviour of some England fans and then I think of the Brexit boys - not those with a vaguely intelligent financial argument - telling us that migrants aren't fit to come to our green and pleasant land... Oh Really?

One positive note, they are most likely tooo thick to register for a postal vote, so won't probably vote!!

I get enough sadness from failure to meet expectations from DCFC... I am pretty thankful I am not a pom as well you guys making it past a group stage is at least a welcome change in sport nowadays!

Not to mention the socceroos. Now we're on it what are the Aussies good at? Cricket, and Aussie assures me nobody likes cricket in Australia anyway and swimming, which is moving in water.

Oh dear...it's all about timing DerbyOz...tbf, you've got some world class coaches...Jones and Bayliss for instance...but then, remind us where they choose to work .
Not so great at the Olympics now either...still, best in the world at RL though, for now.

I completely agree with your view on fans, as well as comments from above. You can't paint every England fan with the same brush but all too often I am embarrassed and shocked by the neanderthal behavior of English football fans on the road - and I include travelling club fans in that too. Like Rats, I don't go to away games any more, I'm sickened by the ignorance and attitude of sections of away support. You get it at home games but it becomes more concentrated amongst travelling fans, less diluted. The same applies to England.

There are sections of our society who are an embarrassment to me and this country and it's why I have no national pride left these days, I find little in this country to be proud of.

They should kick us out of the tournament, serves us right for breeding these assholes in the first place.

In point of fact Rats said a while ago that he did not attend home matches and ONLY went to away games, so either he changes his point of view according to what he posts or he talks *******s or both...surely not???
