When asked his name in Court this morning, Jo Cox's killer replied 'My name is death to traitors'.

Whatever sort of a world are we creating for our children to grow up in? Bombers and Nutters on all sides because as a species we cannot find a way to live peacefully with each other. Even football fans are taking axes to games with them.

Sorry my friend but I was either cutting my grass or doing household chores after 4 lovely days on the Island. Then I cleared off to Hayling, watching just the last couple of minutes of the Portugal game as we had an interlude in our Saturday evening club entertainment. At my age I enjoy each summer more before trudging back willingly to Fp in August. I only watch England in the Euros, better things to do in all honesty than watching football in mid to late June. However I must say I was very very saddened by the events in Birstall this week. She was an MP who obviously cared for her constituents and was trying to make the world a better place. A trial will take place in due course, I would expect it to be in the Autumn. He as is his right will get a fair trial. Jo Cox didn't get what she deserved. R.I.P.

Putting things in prespective Adderkins I am reading a book about Henry ll at the moment. If you think things are bad now ... !!! Civilisation is slowly improving imo but there have always been nutters about and there always will be - there never will be an ideal world. We treat each other badly whether it's what we do or often say. And as for the tardiness of the response apologies but there is a big wide world out there full of Nesquiks, crumpet, cricket, Euro 2016, allotments and squash courts so I was otherwise engaged on all of those apart from sadly, the Nesquiks and the crumpet.

It is a bit slow but nothing unusual there for the time of year. I am hoping it is because it is the close season Bladds. And also the Euros haven't really taken off yet. Come the new season hopefully a few more will return and a few more will join. I think the new format hasn't helped either. It takes a bit of time to get yer head around as the actress said to the bishop.
