I'm sure it was.
It wasn't any kind of story here... although, saying that, it wouldn't have been anything I would have been remotely interested in anyway.
As it is, I googled the story that was mentioned.
Total non-story it would appear, made notable only by 'outraged' huns saying exactly the same thing as the greetin faced whinger at the top of the page.
God, they really are a bunch of fuds!
That wasn't the story though was it.
The story - and please feel free to correct me if I am wrong - is about a journalist in a Scottish newspaper saying that an 18 year-old ***ting two under-age girls 6 years ago should be rehabilitated.
I am sure if it were possible to go back 6 years on this forum I may well have commented at the time, since back then the story WAS about a professional footballer grooming two under-age girls - although it isn't something I have any sort of interest in really - but that was six years ago, and Craig Thomson grooming under-age girls wasn't the story today, nor was it the thrust of this thread, and nor was it the thrust of the comments under the story in the Herald. All the OP was moaning about - and the greetin-faced huns in the Herald - was pish about said journalist thinking that people singing a banned song was wrong but that rehabilitation of an offender who is off the SO register was okay.
I'm not quite sure it was a 'non-story', the boy was sending dodgy messages to underage girls & was chased out of the country for his trouble.
Anyway, Graham Spiers is a total fud & I'm not sure anyone with any decency thinks that singing a daft song at the Fitba is as bad as what Craig Thomson did.
thousands of huns were singing their billy bois song at the cup final and I don't remember any arrests or anyone on here making any sort of comment on the subject. so the real non-story here is the poor wee huns believing they are victimised
What the boy was doing 6 years ago isn't the story. The story is about Graham Spiers.
Fud or not, the law says that Thomson is off the *** offenders register and that singing the billy boys is against the law.
Whether I agree with this or not is neither here nor there - what is relevant is the greetin faced pish being spouted by the huns using this as a stick to beat someone with for the sole reason that he berated people for breaking the law.
Said huns think they should be allowed to sing whatever they like.
I believe the same, but then I'm not bleating about it...
