    I've only been through Crewe on the train and have no intentions of visiting it properly

    I've been to Blackpool as a kid and as a young teen it had the pull back then.

    Went back to it 1998 with my 3 young kids .
    We booked a room with a kitchen an en suite and bedroom .
    We were supposed to have it a week 3 beds in a bedroom 20sq feet the kitchen was a sink and one unit the ensuite was reeking of piss we lasted 2 days and went back to Aberdeen ..
    Blackpool at that time was stuck in the decade of kiss me quick hats and boozed up ***** .
    Which was sad for me to see as I had great times there as a kid .

    I hope its changed for the better but I do remember a concrete jungle with next to no green areas like gardens at the guest houses.
    And many of the brick houses were indeed need of repair.
