Apparantly it would have been accepted by Wolves if we hadn't included keogh in the deal

IMO I'd sell at that price, ye she has scored goals in the past, but we have had him in his prime, he is a one trick pony and wasn't that effective last season and whilst i will probably be proven wrong, don't consider he will be a key player this season.

CM has been our top scorer for the lat 3 seasons. He is a capped international. When we lost him to injury our goals dried up and we faded badly. We have Bent and Blackman who don't score goals anywhere near as regularly as Martin. We are trying to change the system of play which doesn't suit Martin' strengths.
It would be sheer folly to sell him....£6million is a derisory amount for a proven scorer in the Championship and even if it was £12 million it would be stupid to sell him. I cannot see the logic in changing to a different system for the sake of it when we have the squad and players to win games using the previous system.
Surely other people can see this?

Aren't Wolves owned by Chinese owners now?

Probably trying to recruit him for their Olympic diving team now they're so good at it.

A scottish capped international, so stretching it a bit there, £12 million no way, has history of fading after a couple of seasons, agreed he is useful but one dimensional and its a wise manager who moves a player on while they still have value if he feels he does not fit into the way he wants the team to play.

Why change the system? because it hasn't worked in the last 3 seasons and a manager has to play the tactics that he thinks will work. After all the guy has actually won a championship and then retained that teams position in the premier league, so he must have half a clue as to what he is doing surely?

Really?! So we played QPR off the park at Wembley after hammering Brighton in the p-o semi's after finishing 3rd in a very tough league...etc etc.

And last week's new system was ....what exactly? Misfits played in their wrong positions and the best midfielder in the Championship on the bench....

Football is part-art, part science. As Steve McClaren is quoted as saying "Don't tinker; leave the players to play, and Derby County will go up". I suspect there's tinkering going on for tinkering's sake.
