Thread: Queens v Ayr Utd

instead of waiting for the young boys to come back and create an atmosphere why not all the older heads get in the middle of the terrace and create it ,that whole portland terrace should really be on the ball with this .

I hope the fan who was leading the "Blue Army" chant at Tannadice is going to be there on Saturday. It was epic in Dundee but I hope he gets his voice back in time!

And has the Dobmeister's song been changed now to "you may be UNDERweight..."

Mark Miller's looking trim too. (maybe the hair colour helps to create an optical illusion)

A great signing for the Honest Men but always been a slightly controversial player and one the opposition fans love to hate - no idea
why he and Dundee manager Hartley fell out but must have been something serious when he was quoted that '' Harkins would never
kick a ball for Dundee again ''

Wow ...... Just how good was Steven Dobbie today . He's worth the entrance fee alone

Special mention for Derek Lyle who scored his 98th & 99th goals for Queens today ......

Too right! That's exactly what I was thinking when in the first half he beat three defenders with his close control and squared a pass to a teammate for a shot. Almost a replica of what he did for Dykes at Easter Road. After that it just got better and better!

A comfortable win in the end up but I thought we were very lucky to be going in at half time 2-0 up. The disallowed Ayr goal looked good to me , taking a defection and deceiving Robinson. I aint complaining but what was it chalked off for ? Along with the rub of the green , we had some very good individual performances ,most notably Dykes and Dobbie . Wonderful , masterful moments of skill from Dobbie and the strong running and athleticism of the long legged Dykes. This boy is going to cause opponents some real damage and I am so glad he has signed an extension to his contract . to

What a difference it makes . Good to also see a bigger crowd than usual although I though we'd get slightly more
