Apart from not being much cop. Stubbsy obviously likes mobile midfielders. Even his best fan wouldnt say he was mobile. Yes Warnock had a role for him last year as a midfield blocker but I cant see Stubbsy using him in that role. Could play centre defence but look what happened against Morecambe wityh him there. I think they should loan him out and use his considerable wages to get us a forrud, centre half or left back.

From what I've seen the last few matches, Stubbs could do a lot worse than adopt the blocker role. I'd push Vogts into the middle with freks (when fit). Vogts is a good passer but I've seen nowt to suggest he protects the defence. What you class as being "not much cop" kept us up last year.

Halford does nothing for me really, he's too casual and i just don't see Stubbs being that bothered about him tbh.

Yes Vaulks...I agree Stubbs may not currently see the value in Halford but he will. No point being mobile and conceding a bucket full of goals. Our centre half simply are too slow to play at this level without protection.
