Remember Jim Butter who allegedly Queens paid £30,000 for and he played only 30 games in the mid - 90s. If the fee was kosher that was one expensive signing !

Was there that night and he was quite brilliant to the point celtic fans applauded when he got mom amid them throwing there scarfs onto the pitch. Can't understand how he never went to a top club. Can only think it must have been his lifestyle cos he had the ability to play at the top level

What about "The Goalie" himself Andy Goram. Although past his best the class was still evident and his distribution was the finest I ever saw. Alan Ball was my pick for the best overall keeper I saw between the sticks for Queens.

Alex Williams MBE only played 5 times for the Doonhamers and to this day still works for '' his '' club Manchester City.

I must say that Queens now have three very able keepers on their books at one time and this is unusual . Alan Davidson was the best keeper by far I have seen play for QoS . Francis mentions the game I remember most and this being the SC game with Hearts in 1983. A 23 year old Davidson produced the greatest performance I have ever seen in the flesh and some of his saves were miraculous . Testament to this is that some 33 years later , I still remember this clearly as a 13 year old back then.

I would rate Colin Scott as my second best Queens keeper .

I have memories of George Cloy playing in goal once after our keeper was either injured or sent off ????

This was 84-5 v Berwick Rangers . Davidson got carried off the pitch ( man under each arm as I remember) . With no sub keeper , Giro took over the gloves . Well, let's say his saves were unconventional with a ' belly flop ' style stop being the highlight . Anyway, Cloy got a clean sheet and he came off to a standing ovation and we got 3-0 win.

I was a big fan of Scott but he was unlucky at the amount of time he missed with his injuries.
One key moment of his that I will never forget is his penalty save against Hamilton when the game was still goalless before Queens went on to win the match to confirm promotion.

I've seen them all, although slightly too young to remember much of Henderson.... George Farm was my best keeper choice, BUT.... I am now of the opinion that Lee Robinson is my favourite Queens keeper ever!
