    OT: Cam, I'm worried.

Ever since I learned that you live in Seattle I have barely slept. Do you realise that there is far less chance of RUFC being promoted in the next five years than Seattle being hit by a Category 9.0 earthquake and accompanying tsunami? I urge you to come back to Rotherham. If Cheeks(s) can do it surely you can?

thinking laterally,if a force 9.0 earthquake followed by a tsunami hit Rotherham would it do as much damage as the town planners over the years-and could anyone tell?.

Tom, when last I looked Seattle was not in South Yorks. If you feel Rotherham might be hit by a tsunami your geography is on a par with gm-gm's who located Carnforth in the middle of the Irish Sea.

It could come up the don or even the canal(don,t forget the floods that came down from Chesterfield through Catcliffe).

Fair point. Btw, like the avatar which reminds me of the old 69 I used to get to Sheffield.

As I typed the comment I thought "Which poster will come on and say 'don't you mean in and not to Sheffield?'" My money was on Brin or gm-gm

TO Sheffield obviously, to get away from earthquakes and Tidal waves.(Tsunami meaning "harbour wave" in japanese.)

Pigglesborough got flooded in 2007 in the great floods, made it 100% better, made it look like a paddy field. 😄
