OT:Cam:help needed

Cam, you seem to be pretty much on the ball with all things MM. Can you tell me if it's possible to access MM posts from years back and, if so, how to do a search?

When you are on the main page of the MB (the one listing the posts), the light grey bar just above has a Search Forum feature. It does work but unfortunately doesn't seem to go back that far from what I can see. I recently searched for a post I made 6 months back and it didn't find it.

As for Mt Rainier, it's about 50 miles to the south of us and Mt Baker is the same to the north. No intention of climbing them but they are both spectacular to look at every day, especially Rainier which stand's out at just over 14,000'. A local guy (but from Norway I think) just broke the record for running up and down from the base parking lot, doing it in around 4h.

Thanks, Cam. My interest goes back a few years but it's not important. I just wanted to refresh my memory of the Wild West days on MM when prominent posters were dodging bullets and "hidden" death threats were all the rage.

My account must have been hacked! No, that was me but in my paranoid phase. My defence of Cheeks(s) didn't get me very far as he slags me off constantly. I suppose now there's no chance of a free holiday in Halford.

I'd never heard of Halford so looked it up and have been through there quite often on my way to experience Oktoberfest in Leavenworth. It would be unfortunate to live in a place that shares a name with a defensive/midfield malingerer. No, for your free holiday you would have to look about 20 miles West and 5 miles South to the home of Chateau St Michelle Winery (plus many other wineries) and Redhook Brewery.

PS I don't screenshot every post on here, in fact I think that's the only one I have ever done. I just happened to come across it recently. I believe I did it at the time to prove to you that a poster's IP address was always on display to mods on MM and that I didn't have to hunt t down.
