Pete, I have been on here pretty much since Bigrich started the site. There was always abuse, there was always as many OT's as there was talk about football. The messageboard has its peak when messageboards were at their peak, when there was no twitter and far less social media in general. In the past after a match I would have posted my thought here, now I might post something on twitter and I have a whatsapp with a few mates where I know I will get replies from friends whose opinions I am interested in. It is just the way things have evolved.
The fact that Rich and then Dean lost interest/got fed up with the haters didn't help but it wasn't the main cause of the slide in popularity, that would have happened anyway.

That is an informed and sensible comment. I have remained true to the site because I don't have twitter, don't have facebook and like to keep in touch with Millers. However, if 3 or 4 of my "favourite" posters on here jacked in I would too.
