Next time I am at an away game , I am going to screen the Queens support , looking for as many 80 year old's as I can. When I have narrowed them down , I will introduce myself and buy the old fox a pie.

I think you are right about Cresswell, JardI. There is a bit of playful devilment there but this just means that you don't know if he means what he says or inviting a bite ? I don't get fooled by his criticisms of the modern era because Scotland or Queens have never really had a successful phase at any time in the past and that's fact.l

Always remember, JRS, that success is a relative term. I think our next away game will be against Hibs at Easter Road. All being well I shall be there, but in light of your "threat" perhaps I should go in disguise. I'll tell you one thing for sure, the pies back in the 1950s were a helluva lot better than they are now. At that time they were supplied by Little's of Castle Douglas. In my opinion this site has lost much of the cut and thrust it once had when the message rather than the messenger was the focus of attention and the message was subject to rigorous scrutiny. I think, too, that the site would be even duller (no criticism of anyone intended) if there wasn't an injection of controversy by some posters such as myself. I shall have to leave you to work out for yourselves if it is genuine criticism or simply tongue in cheek.
No threat Cresswell, just maybe my ( poor) attempt at a bit of banter. The bovril would have real beef dripping in it back then , not like the powdered rubbish you get now eh ?
