Daft buns winding themselves up again

Over whether true Scots in the away end at Wembley will be booing the English national anthem. Some comments on this thread show why they are hated, some show that there are decent Rangers 2012 supporters out there.

For my part, phukk the English for using what is meant to be a British national anthem.

Although it is English, so boooooo

I'm on FF daily - it's gebuinely fantastic entertainment.

Here is a cracker from a week or so ago:

    Re: Met Josh Windass tonight

Was walking down Byres road with my headphones around 6 o'clock (just past the hilton and oran mor)I looked up from my stride and the Bold josh was walking up the street .He was with some fat bloke who was quite young with a heavy beard/English accent who wasn't a player or his agent. Most probably a pal from down south.

I shouted "Josh i love you man" and he smiled and he kinda stopped..like i was about to ask for a photo/chat but i just shook his hand quickly and bolted/power walked on with my head down trying to be causal. Was star struck. Can confirm he's quite tall and his hair is indeed magnificent in the flesh.Looked very calm,casual.. walking around just for a wander (after miller getting hassle from the bheasts you can't take that for granted)

    epilogue to what happened after

Basically after i walked past him n shook hands.I thought oh my god" i just met josh windass".Only had my ipod on me with no wifi so i stopped at the bus stop two minutes later beside the boots which had open wifi.I was just standing there for a couple minutes posting it on facebook then there was a couple of fit birds standing infront of me hanging around and i was like..you hear for josh ..u know he's about? I looked back up the street and thought is he coming back ? i am just standing here for the wifi but the fact i am craning my neck and looking about is giving the impression something is happening so i move on

I was walking pretty fast now flew past the rock pub in Hyndland.need tae get home asap to get on FF.I was thinking i should of asked about barton/the team line up/score a goal on sunday/anything but it doesn't matter now.i've got my scoop.almost a final flashpoint came in Hyndland at the top shops.I seen a guy in a tim scarf going to the match and i was bursting/thinking cause i was pumped up. "This is a Rangers area.see the reception josh windass just got..get out" but i say nothing and put my energies into a half sprint . Music was sorta madchester. stone roses .bit of the farm also.I was buzzing so i shuffled all the depressing tunes off

a total over reaction in hindsight but i was buzzing at the time/thought it was a big thing till not even my pals gave a **** when i told them.

Some bellend by the name of motherwellblue posted:

"The sporran legion will as usual jeer during the playing of our (and their) national anthem.A bunch of very unlikable bawsacs.Pissing and vomitting and drinking in London streets will be rife.Hope the police batter them senseless if that's possible."

Now be honest - instead of London did you picture Manchester

Swallow Swallow is a fantastic insight into the lives of people who are brought up to hate. Scotland fans created havoc in 1977, we all watched it. Thousands of Rangers fans that day. Unfortunately they have evolved into something else, they hate Scotland with a passion. GSTQ is not English, nor is it Scottish. I tried to comment on Swallow Swallow but it is closed off to normal people.

I wanted to copy and paste another post that spoke of how FIFA shouldn't prevent the poppies being put on the England and Scotland jerseys next week and that freedom of choice should be permitted - oh the delicious irony.

But guess what - the link that worked fine yesterday and was a source of such merriment comes up with a "Invalid Thread specified" today. Looks like even the hun admin (is dark mingwall still doing it?) were mortified by it all
