How much income does Buckingham Palace bring to the country & how much of it goes back to the ordinary taxpayer?

On tourism the figure would be tens of millions, the ordinary taxpayer wouldn't get a curdy I wouldn't expect, except from the thousands of jobs it creates, when did the tourist industry start giving handouts?

Would it be better to allow it to fall into disrepair, become unsafe and then demolish it, should we do the same with Edinburgh and Windsor castle?

Maybe we should just destroy all historic buildings to save the taxpayer a few bob?

My Mum & Dad were down in London recently for a break & didn't go to see Buckingham Palace.

I've been to London about 25 times (mainly for work right enough) & never seen it.
