10 out, 10 in would be a good start - our 6th rebuild in 3 years!

It does however present it's own problem. If you were a potential signing wouldn't the high turn over of players put you off? Particularly if you have other offers to consider?

I think the name of Kenny Jackett will be a bigger pull than the recent history of past management to incoming players.

Who would you want to play for

Evans who gets promotions but isn't a nice person. You know what you're buying into.
Redfearn who was loved at Leeds but had a difficult time with the chairman. No experience other than coaching kids.
Warnock who has won promotion but didn't sign anyone. Out for himself.
Stubbs who was a decent center half and won a cup in Scotland. You don't have a clue what's going to happen.
Jackett who has won promotions with different clubs. You know what you're buying into.

Footballers talk Grist. A player will ask about before signing.

I'm surprised he needs to do any groundwork as it appears AS has already dug us a big enough hole

I thought Stubbs was the dodgy builder on Fawlty Towers but maybe it was Jackett considering his groundwork?

Well, if as Frog says, Jackett's reputation would have been a big pull then his telling RUFC to take a jump in the lake will surely resonate amongst prospective signings?

It surely is Monty. The final nail in the coffin for this season.

Pigeon holes for our past managers - portraying their attributes and faults within the constraints of a short sentence is insight indeed.

    'Psychological profiles R US'

O'h if life was so simple.... and equally amusing.....based on pure here-say and supposition.

Tough job at the NYS now....and a major problem is trust. Long term plans - promises terminated prematurely - then "experienced" championship "saviour" walks out.

Who - with any integrity - and long term plans would take the job now.

The person that will ultimately take the job must have his reasons questioned - like EVO at Leeds....A very big gamble indeed.....but the LEEDS job was a risk worth taking for EVO .... and an understandable one - this job doesn't have the same potential pay-off.

First job....get player power under control because ultimately this mess is their fault.
