Using this as a means to point scoring against rival Football clubs is absolutely pathetic however, this is the reason I mentioned that it might be better to close the thread on the first page, some posters should probably take a day or two off from the child abuse stuff.
Without the child abuse point scoring this forum would be pretty much deid.

As this individual was on the books at Rangers, he surely couldn't be sacked on the spot for making a comment. Lot more to this, hopefully the 20-year cover-up will be exposed shortly. An active pedophile employed for 5 years by Rangers, and all he was sacked for was a comment. Highly unlikely.

This whole thread is a points-scoring exercise, why should the huns not get some back.
Because NO child abuse should be used for trying to point-score. It's a reprehensible act and only worthy of full and unadulterated condemnation. If wolf and/or others make such accusations to try pointscore - why lower yourself to such depths to do likewise? Why not rise above it and realise that anybody, even a hun, being the victim of a pedo, is NOT something to try to point score on.

Anyone who continues to try to pointscore in such a way can be seen for what they really are. They don't give a toss about eradicating child abuse - they just don't want it to have happened at their club for fear of bad publicity. They're taking delight that it happened at a rival's club. And that sums them up.

Here is a wee timeline that proves beyond any doubt, the motives for the recent upturn in songs about pedophiles, from the likes of fans of Rangers (In Liquidation), Sevco, Hearts, Aberdeen and Motherwell.

1998 - Jim Torbett jailed for 2 years for abusing 3 young boys in his care at Celtic Boys Club

    http://www.heraldscotland.com/news/1...ayal_of_trust/

2007 - A campaign is started by Jim Devine MP and David Marshall MP for a posthumous knighthood award for Jock Stein.
    http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foot...ic/6445067.stm

In the intervening 9 years between Torbett being jailed and the campaign to have Stein knighted, there was not one peep from anyone about Torbetts role at Celtic BC and his former friendship with Jock Stein as well as other Celtic directors, not one peep. As soon as the prospect of Jock being knighted came up, then so did the abuse of his memory by fans of Scotlands Shame (RIP).They just couldnt stomach that a Lanarkshire Protestant who embarrassed them on and off the park, was to be made a knight of the realm when none of theirs ever where.

PS. A couple of quotes from the Judge at Torbetts trial was very enlightening, maybe the Zombies could take them on board.

"Nowadays there can be no hiding place for people who abuse children........Things were different 25 years ago and young boys did not talk about ***. They were still children.......They said in court they thought they would be laughed at by their peers ......"

I'll bet every dream you have ends with a fluffy unicorn flying through a rainbow. With the cover-up at Ibrox finally exposed, I hope the huns do stop posting about it on this forum and stick to their own scummy forums, doubt that'll happen though. All I've said on here is why was there a cover-up at Ibrox, why are the accusations against this individual not being investigated now. Why, man, why.
