Finally a goal in the Merseyside Derby, Sturridge's effort back off the post, Mane in the right place to score, Liverpool have looked the more likely in the second half, 0-1.

It wasn't to be fair, more seems to have been said about Ross Barkley's late challenge on Jordan Henderson.

There's plenty of football to watch live today starting with the Brighton v QPR game.

1-0 Brighton at the break, QPR have improved since the goal, but Sylla up front needs that killer instinct. Wolves were after him not so long back. I still think Brighton, if they wanted to could step up another gear.

2-0 Brighton, Murray from the penalty spot, Luongo can't have no complaints, he went to ground and brought down Stephens.

A long way back now for QPR, Onuoha sent off for what i think is harsh, Baldock has the ball and Onuoha makes minimal contact on the player, ref couldn't wait to send him off.

3-0 Brighton, excellent finish from Knockaert, so much time when he picked up the ball and then curled it past the QPR keeper.
