    Thanks for the only relevant reply so far. I think on balance though, it would be easier to catch the Red Arrow to the bus station and ask again at the information desk. I can use my bus pass back from Derby to Nottm but the tight buggers on Notts County Council say it`s not a proper bus service, it`s a coach - so no concessionary passes. They are comfy coaches though.

    Fair old trek from the bus station to Pride Park LL...especially if the weather is a bit naff. I'm no expert, as I have a permit at one of the PP businesses which is great for going but useless for a quick getaway afterwards, but might the train be a better idea? Much shorter walk from the railway station.

    An alternative worth considering if you set off early enough is tram to Bardills and a taxi/uber right to the ground from there
