The leader of an old national socialist party liked animals and was by all accounts a vegetarian too. Not so good with people though..

Sounds a bit like my Aunt Maureen. She has got 3 cats and one dug - a springer spanial - and is a vegetarian but not so great with people (mainly strangers, shes ok with family and neighbours).

Could some of those experts in international law do me a favour? Tell me if all those Scottish wars were legal. Bannockburn? And when Bonnie Prince Chairlie marched down to Derby?

I believe the wars you refer to took place before the UN was formed.

And extreme right-winger and racist Nigel Farage likes a pint down the pub. The English separatists were allowed to vote for him, though?

Bannockburn wasn't a war, and it wasn't a Scottish war.

An interesting wee snippet from todays news and the disclosure of more state secrets, it gives you the sole reason why Rangers fans used to and Sevco fans now venerate heroes who served in Northern Ireland during the Troubles.

"Dr Phoenix said many papers discussed the Ulster Defence Regiment (UDR) and the public's view of it.

Most citizens saw its soldiers either as protectors from terrorists, or as a sectarian force which aided, or acted, for loyalist paramilitaries.

The regiment existed for just over 20 years and some of its member were convicted or murder, kidnappings and bombings as well as other offences.

Arguments followed the repeated calls for a tougher vetting procedure."

Their fake sympathy for the Armed Forces outwith the Troubles is pathetic
