    Does RUST Still Exist?

I'm assuming not because nothing has been heard from them for a few years now.
When the organisation was active I seem to remember that they had reasonable access to members of the board.
Also they used to organise Fans' Forums on a fairly regular basis which allowed supporters to ask questions directly to the chairman and manager.
However, I don't think there has been a forum since we moved to NYS and the club seems to prefer to act like some kind of secret society.
When key people leave the club in mysterious circumstances they are asked (forced?) to sign confidentiality agreements. Why? What is the club afraid of?
On the rare occasions that we actually pay money for a player the fee is always reported as "undisclosed." Why? Other clubs don't do this.
There are so many questions that supporters would like answers to but we are seemingly treated with disdain by the club and deliberately kept in the dark.
If RUST could be resurrected perhaps we would have a vehicle to put pressure on the board and get some much needed answers.

RUST was originally set up by local solicitors and accountants to promote the businesses of local solicitors and accountants with the secondary aim of creating a supporters trust.

I don't think we need a trust or a rust at the moment, and after reading the bios on the rust website it should have made people think there was people involved with clear career objectives over those of the club.

    A good post Mellow..

I agree that the club do not keep supporters informed.

Is it true about confidentiality agreements?.....If so then clearly the club does have things to hide and nobody hides the positives.

RUST disintegrated when we went through our troubled times.

Bigrich was a member so that was the kiss of death.

Gmgm...a bit cynical your post but possibly true...Muchmillerson may disagree.

How is Ho Chi Minh city these days.

mellowmiller, I don`t think R.U.S.T. exists as such. I think they changed the name to Supporters Trust.
Mark Thomas used to be the chairperson of R.U.S.T. when it was first set up.
Members from the Nostalgia Society & Supporters Trust were represented at the launch of the EFL Fan Engagement Initiative on 29th November 2016. Members from both groups attended the meeting at the DW Stadium Wigan.

I assume you`re talking about a Fans Forum like what`s been done in the past. Don`t hold your breath besides now is not the time for an inquest, that should be done at the end of the season. The club need to explain what went wrong & why. Then they need to tell supporters what plan of action there is for the next three seasons.
