I was told smallwood doesnt want to come back..hes better off in a winning team with a chance to play in a division higher...
He may well still be our player, but who'd want to come back to a poorly shell with no infastructure, little money left, and going down..then comes the kick...to keep having to pay poor signings for another couple of years..
And all this on poor gates and no championship money....we had our warnings...buy cheap,buy twice....only trouble is, we cant afford to buy twice yet....

Think about it. Smallwood was getting more negative by the game. Leave him were he his. Give Vaulks a run. Get a Halford type midfielder in only younger & abit quicker.
