O/T - Is it Possible to Refrain from Answering any Posts from IBJ?

On a related topic I just noticed that the number of posters with lbj on ignore had hit 100

That's a landmark then - the longer the season runs on and teams get 70% of the possession and lose... those 100 won't have to admit they are wrong .... We'll not on MM because they have their heads in the sand - so to speak.....lol

I suspect the penny has dropped already for many of them because some don't lack intelligence - but those guru's of the beautiful game who want Rotherham United to play the "Rotherham" way have to respect facts.

Wigan - Blackburn and now QPR are all using this tactic to good effect....

The Rotherham players couldn't "get it" - we'll for me - sack the players that didn't "get it" not the manager with the forsight to use it!

Having joined this forum of free speech I do enjoy reading others point of view - I have never found that knowledge is obtained by not looking and listening to everyone then making your own decisions....

IBJ..I havent blocked you as I like to read everything, and although your thinking is heavily warped towards AS it does add balance.

I just would like to pick you up on something, my first post saying "were down" was on the 10th of September after our 2-2 draw with Bristol City where the stats showed that BC had 71% possession and this was in dangerous areas of the pitch, and had 35 shots at goal, it was a minor miracle that we didnt concede 8 or 9 goals, under Warne the stats have improved although the results havent.

There's no point in trying to reason with this guy Aussie he isn't willing to take on anybody else's point of view as he is convinced that despite the vast evidence to the contrary that if his beloved Stubbs was still here now we would be climbing the table and rocketing towards mid-table security.

It takes time to get it right !

QPR players said after game that they're working hard with a new "system" ollies is using .

Reading had 72% Possession at 85 minutes. Then I switched off - but QPR won 0 - 1 ( should have been 2 )

The "system" is only one tactic in the locker but essentially it allows underdogs a chance - needs drilling into team - discipline and half decent defenders.

Even the special one took Chelsea to An field and used it to good effect...
( see that match eulogised by Shearer on U-tube )....not the stupid "park the bus" version - the serious one where Shearer explains the system beautifully...and how it should be done.

Only my opinion - but backed by history and the ongoing use of it by our rivals to gain points against "better" opposition.

Bitterly disappointed though because I believe Rotherham had it right at the start if the season and I "appreciated" what they were doing. They were respecting our lowly place in the championship and trying to achieve something without breaking the bank.

That chance has gone and I can't see a credible replacement strategy.

That's my very last word on it - even I'm bored with repeating the same stuff that I thinks simple football common sense...

lbj for what it's worth I can see a lot of what you say and I agree re the tactics and young players but you was wasting your time on here to be honest some people can only see what they want to see UTM
