Come on don't be fearful, voice your honest opinion.

No one on here will judge you anyway and those that would are at a demo.

Not really, from what I understand in most cases it's just a phase they go though and they should be allowed to go through it.

The climate today with all the PC teachers being "inclusive" it's more likely to become permanent.

It's the latest trendy topic that the BBC are going to bore us with.

Next thing for schools will be to waste money installing toilets for the transgender pupils they don't have and to waste more money sending staff on transgender awareness courses.

I'd be amazed if any schools were actively encouraging children into a transgender lifestyle. Being inclusive and open to people who feel they were born into the wrong body and encouraging other pupils to accept them for what they are, is completely different to encouraging children to do do it/try it/feel it themselves.

I'm quite sure we had this kind of question for parents about homo***uals 30/40 years ago..........

I tell you what does worry me much more, the brainwashing of our children into believing in any kind of God or afterlife.

Just move here where you are free to use the toilets of the gender you identify with. If I need a **** and the 2 men's traps at work are occupied I can just switch my gender identity and pop into the ladies. Beats ****ting my pants.

I'm guessing this is about the boy wanting to be a girl?

I'm with the parents doing the best they can for an unhappy child but not sure putting it on the news is the best thing
The School is not encouraging transgender on children at all but is agreeing to help Amber (wants to be known as) so that she is happy in her school years.
    good luck to them

Amber was what 8/9 years old?? At 9 years old I didn't know if I wanted to wear Superman or Noddy pants. I am no expert in this field but what are the odds that the parents have pushed this? Did they want a girl not a boy?
I have no problem with people wanting to change their gender once they have matured but children are too easily influenced.
