No answers yet.....out drowning your sorrows.

We should have stayed with plan 'A'..Stubbs with a budget....

Plan 'B' could only be spending money we don't have.... and that was never going to happen....

Huddersfield in too much debt for our taste......we need to totally rethink the financial backing of the club...

So buy your Season tickets ASAP to give as much power to the club as possible as early as possible.

Cracking season next season IF we go down....and fight to the end this season.......so either way excited about the future....

We've learned so much this year - back the club -

    Get your plastic early !

    Ay-up nah-then sith.....

Another example for all you football experts.....

    Hull city 2 - 28% Possession

    Liverpool 0 - 72% Possession

Did anyone see Hull players "chasing down the Liverpool midfielders / defence.

Did anyone see Hull pressing / tackling beyond their strict defensive lines...

    No you didn't

Did you see Hull concede possession yet win 2 - 0....Zero

That's another example of what Stubbs was trying to drill into our squad....how many more examples do you need !

    Remember :

    AS players can't tackle !

    AS players won't tackle !

    Possession stat's pathetically low !

Well that's the tactics that give the "underdog" a chance.......and Hull beating Liverpool is a brilliant example.

    2 - 0 with 28% Possession.....lmao !

    Exactly what is our strategy?.....

    Where has the Chairman gone?

What does Paul Douglas actually do and what are his qualifications?...Remind me what his job outside football was I forget??.What is his history...IBS will know but I don't.

Not a single person from the club has admitted any personal responsibility for this total shambles of a season.

Warne is happy with our players and play and we lost again!

Stay happy Paul and keep losing!
Like I said this week & before, get shut of Paul Douglas, get someone in with football knowledge, time for Tony Stewart to come out of hibernation & give answers, but he may keep curled up while he has IBJ has his PR man.

I'm actually starting to think that Stubbs was successful with us.

Derbs that's what I call value for money, didn't leave nothing on the pitch. Put it all in.

Blackstock is exact opposite takes it all out puts nothing in. We've been had but there's nobody there to do anything about it. Paul Douglas he's like a throwback. Football as moved on you need someone younger streetwise who doesn't get fooled.

Paul Douglas will have grown with the job over the years - rule changers and transfers will all be second nature to him now - anyway - there is a team of folk dealing with the transfers / business side of football......

You paint a picture like Douglas is sat in an old dusty office with tikka-tape machine and an old black phone...

Wer'e a club that has been overtaken by the stupid costs of the championship.

That's why plan 'A' - Stubbs with a budget should have been maintained and supported to the end of the season because we were never going to get into debt chasing rainbows.

Stubbs was successful - bearing in mind the restraints put on him - he bought budgets players and loans to manipulate into playing as underdogs in a big league.

I don't care what folk say he made progress game after game - considering his two captains were long term injuries as well.

Warney is saying his team gave everything "physically"...... We'll that's not the point.

We need to play like Hull did v Liverpool - that is playing "clever" - with intelligence not run our blood to water....

    "The Rotherham Way"....

It takes time to get that shape and team discipline - and Izzy was a key man for us - an "outball" for our defence and with his ability to hold / carry the ball and feed Wardy - but Stubbs gone - Izzy gone !

    Ward scoring 1 / 2 under Stubbs

    Ward scoring 1 / 6 without Stubbs

But many got their wish and Stubbs was hounded out......when he was our best chance this year..

Be careful what you wish for !

Now look what you've got !

Stubbs is the reason we're in this mess. Only Vaulks he brought in good enough. Blackstock is the worst signing in terms of length of contract/wages he's on in my 51 years watching RUFC. Izzy Brown wasn't a Rotherham Utd type championship player.

    Somebody tell me anything different.
I agree. It's beyond boring. lbj should be warned, stop posting long, boring posts about Stubbs or be permanently kicked off the forum. It's way too much now.

Come on Ellis whatever happened to freedom of speech?
He does have some valid points and yes he does have a long drawn out way of expressing them but everyone to their own.
I've seen & read much worse on here.
Banning someone for using Caps ?? What's that all about.

Oh Casper, I know, and fundamentally I'm all for everyone saying whatever they like, whenever they like. It's just these posts from lbj are so long, boring and patronising. And on almost every thread, often with several posts on each thread. Loads of posters have complained about it. There's so many different points of view on here, but no-one else constantly goes on about the same thing fifty times a day, and it's just the constant incessant repetition that is so draining.

The banning for using caps I thought was harsh, I'll say that. I know the reason was that it looks like lbj was shouting, but perhaps he was shouting? I don't know, he rants often enough, I'd be surprised if his mrs and kids get a minute's peace.
