    Another look at the swamp...

Where the pond life are agonising over the 10 in a row scenario... bunch of greetin faced fuds, but one or two stand out...

"The way I see it, 10 in a row is a marker for improvement. we may or may not stop it but certainly hope we would be challenging them by then. everyone has ups and downs, (ours not of our own making) Players will leave, managers will leave.
As long as we continue to focus on us and keep moving forward we will get there"

This yin has nicked the biscuit... not of their own making??? Eh???

I like this one, although I don't actually understand it... (unless he is a Celtic supporter...)

If they do ten, we aim to do eleven.

Nobody thought our nine would be matched or beaten, and just look at what happened.
    (What did happen exactly???)

    This is a good yin...
They go hand in hand. Get the right moves made for Rangers in the next few years and 10 iar will take care of itself. It took everything they had a some luck to stop our 10. Do you really think they were a better team (i know, over the year they proved to be) then us? Get close enough and a good run and some pressure on them (something they will not have felt as a group)and you never know what happens. Football changes quickly

"Do you really think they were a better team then (sic) us? I know - over the year they proved to be"..??? Eh??? Is it just me???

I'm not sure if they really believe this "tainted" pish but it is certainly a helluva comfort blanket for them..
I'd hate for them to reach 10IAR, but they will know deep down that a number of them are tainted since we weren't in the picture.
"Deep down", you fkn mutant, we know that you basturds cheated your way to the titles you won - go check the definition of fkn tainted you tw@t...

The huns weren't in the picture because their old club went out of business spending money they didn't have to try win more, and their new club wasn't good enough. How quickly they forget getting horsed over two legs by Motherwell FFS. And then when they do finally make it to the top league they're not even in second place - they're currently third and are closer to those behind them than even to Aberdeen in second. FFS the tims are is it 30 points ahead of them! "tainted since we weren't in the picture"?!?!?! COMEDY GOLD!!!

Rangers supporters don't do themselves any favours with this 'not of our own making' pysh but it must feel just a wee bit empty winning the league every year without even a hint of any serious competition.

Fk sake mook you are the same as the rest of you're band of bams, ranjizz are poor this season and may well struggle for fourth so is that an empty winning feeling for the unwashed? No one will match them in many a year now unless some fool wants to invest heavily in Scottish Football and set a challenge for the unclean. And we all know that ain't gonna happen apart from glib and shameless 'money' men. It is what it is and better get used to the idea of running for best of the rest....

I'm not sure what my 'band of bams' is but I would much prefer to see Aberdeen, Hibs or Hearts win the league than either of the Old Firm teams.

I'm only guessing that winning the league every season, uncontested leaves a slightly empty feeling, I'm sure a lot of Celtic supporters are in their element at the moment.

I seem to recall when the huns were spending money they didn't own they once won the title by nearly 20 points. Not as much as the current 27 I grant you but I don't recall anyone at the time suggesting it was a pyrrhic victory or that it left their fans feeling empty.

And let me tell you - the further behind Aberdeen that the huns end up the more the Dons fans will love it. Yes Sireee Bob!

Was that in the middle of their 9 in a row? I probably would've said the same thing then although it was a good 20 years ago.

I see the swallowswallowers want Dave King to sue everyone under the sun if BDO win the latest appeal at the Supreme Court over the EBTs. Since this has nothing to do with Newco, how do they figure that would work, especially as Rangers weren't punished for using EBTs in the first place.

Not really sure tbh - it was ages ago but I recall one of my mates ripping the ever livin p1ss out of another mate for months about it.

Just googled it 98/99 RFC won the league with a 21 point margin and a better goal difference an all. I certainly don't recall anyone in the media or even amongst the timmy fans claiming it was tarnished - funny that.

In '98/99 Rangers won the league by 6pts.

Celtic were defending Champions that season & also had players like Henrik Larsson in their team rather than the likes of Waghorn & a geriatric Kenny Miller.
