After yesterday's game the tim's confidence will have taken a bit of a setback, and the huns will have renewed hope. Add to that the vagaries of some of the refs in this country, and anything could happen. I think Murty did a number on the tims tactically yesterday so the tims will have to come up with a new plan, and probably better centrehalves. Certainly don't think there'll be any more than a goal to separate them, and no doubt there'll be a controversial decision or two by the whistler

We had far more possession, more chances and more grievance, if tactical genuisy involves allowing the opposition every chance to win despite not being at their best, then Murty is the new Jock Stein.

Tactical nous rather than genius involved flooding midfield and letting your centrehalves - particularly Boyta - try to move forward with the ball. The further out of position he came, the more exposed ye were to counter-attack and let's be honest, he was never going to score or set up anyone for a goal himself so he could be left to his own devices. Lucky for him he seemed to have a morbid fear of passing the halfway line.

And with midfield flooded ye were less able to fashion clear-cut chances for yer usual speed merchants Demble and Sinclair to use their speed in behind to punish the defence. I don't think either of them touched the ball very much tbh.

It may well have been piggy-backing on the tactical astuteness of St Mirren in the cup for 50 minutes, but the huns had the players and the discipline to fashion a result from it. And to be honest they'd carved out a couple of very good chances beforehand. Yes the huns keeper had a good game as well, but Craig Gordon made two very good one-on-one saves.

There was no skelping despite the pre-match bravado and silly talk of a horsing
