    The compliance officer is doing refs no favours at all imho. Brown is just the latest in reasonable red cards (could have been yellow could have been red) overturned. It doesn't bode well for our game when "tackles" like that are given just a yellow overturning the decision of the ref on the day. The huns can have little complaint given that they finished with 11 after their performance last week but still, it's not good for our overall game imho.

    Not wishing to defend anyone but it is a contact sport. I know it is getting ever more hands off but there are just as many people bemoaning the passing of the days when a goal could be scored by shoving the keeper into the net with the ball as there are throwing their hands up in horror at poor old Schalk getting mown down by a gust of wind...

    (Incidentally, why would the word "mown" have a red line under it as if either my pc or this site doesn't recognise it as a word??)
