Ah yes the indeterminate use of the word think and do, one being contemplative and the other being a course of action. Also interesting that the use of the word "dick" in this instance is explained by including the alternative "idiot" one is never quite certain in these cases whether the author isn't sure of the meaning or whether he worries that his target audience wont understand.

What is apparent is that the concept that a moderator "wouldn't" rather than "can't" edit or delete a post seems to have been overlooked.

And of course its clear that both I and Rog are relative newcomers on here, one cannot help but marvel at the thought process which came up with that statement.

Ah more interesting use of terminology, get over, as in its a mental blockage that I cannot get past, mm interesting. Also generally the use of a / indicates either or not "and", its important I feel that one makes ones thoughts clear, especially in such ambiguous situations, because as we can see from the Brexit negotiations ambiguity can lead to misconceptions..not good at all no no not good.

Also if its a fact that Rog is a dick and an idiot, where is the link that proves or at least supports this assertion? Being a scholarly sort of chap one likes to have verifiable sources for this information.

Apologies, I mus have missed your explanation or possibly i am as you put it too thick to comprehend? A "dick" and an "idiot" thanks for clearing that up as when you typed dick/idiot I assumed (wrongly obviously) that you mean't either or, that the terms meant the same , that either applied, but as you have so eloquently explained despite both terms largely meaning the same, you feel so strongly that both should be used in conjunction with each other and not separately.

Glads thats sorted as my bare head couldn't as you say "get over it" and as so many of your insightful posts do it was puzzling me greatly.
